'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date Finally Confirmed By BioWare On Amazon

After years of rumors and speculations, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" release date has finally been confirmed by BioWare. In the most unlikely circumstance, the developer has discreetly revealed the release date on Amazon.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is finally coming to consoles next year. According to BioWare's artwork product details on online store Amazon, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be out on March 21, 2017. In said site, "The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda" hardcover published by Dark Horse Comics stated that the publishing company will release said book "simultaneously with the game."

Here's a screengrab of BioWare's posting on Amazon:

"Mass Effect: Andromeda," Companion Of The Book

It furthered that the book is the "comprehensive companion to the wildly anticipated "Mass Effect Andromeda." This points very well to what "Mass Effect: Andromeda" creative director Mac Walters said: "As we bring the Andromeda galaxy to life, we realize that there are many untapped stories that could be better told through comics."

He added: "These stories give our fans a more in-depth understanding of the motivations of the explorers making that journey, from their perspective. Our creative partnership with Dark Horse goes all the way back to Mass Effect 2 and we are excited to expand that partnership within the Andromeda galaxy."

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" Developers Need Extra Time

For some, March 21, 2017 remains a speculation. However, the author of the book on said store is BioWare, which points out that this date is true after all. In fact, at the 2016 E3 event last June in Los Angeles, Bioware already pinned down March 2017 as the date of release for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." This was already a delayed date as the installment was originally announced to come out this year. In BioWare's blog, general manager Aaryn Flynn explained that the developers still need extra time to come up with the desired game.

No "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Teasers

Six months before the confirmed date, BioWare has not yet shown any footage or clip to tease fans while there are no leaks surfacing yet. Express reported that "fans are worried...that it may be well get pushed back again."
