Microsoft Unveils New Range of Keyboards and Mice

Microsoft has unveiled a range of mice and keyboard to work with Windows 8 software that is scheduled to be released on October 26.

The series ranges from ultra-slim Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard to Wedge Touch Mouse. The world's biggest software maker has showcased its latest offerings on its Facebook page.

Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Keyboard

Designed specifically for tablet users, the Microsoft Sculpt Mobile Keyboard provides an ideal balance of mobility, comfort and productivity. The keyboard comes with Comfort Curve design, Bluetooth connectivity, Hot Keys, built-in media keys and Battery-saving technology and many more.

Estimated retail price of the keyboard is set as US$49.95.

Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse

Designed to fit in a pocket, Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse, according to the company, is artful and minimalist. The small touch-based mouse provided four-way touch scrolling and navigation. The Wedge mouse is free from cables or USB transceivers. It features BlueTrack Technology to let you use it on any surface. Moreover, the Microsoft Wedge Touch Mouse packs in Backpack Mode to go into sleep mode along with the paired computer, extending its battery life.

Estimated retail price of the Wedge Touch mouse is set at US$69.95.

Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse

Similar to the Wedge Touch Mouse, the Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse also offers smooth and easy four-way touch scroll strip navigation with a Windows 8-based PC.

Sculpt mouse, however, does not come with the backpack mode.

Estimated retail price of the Sculpt Touch mouse has been set at US$49.95.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has announced that it will update its already released Touch Mouse to enable finger swipe navigation.
