'The Flash' Season 3 Premiere: Barry Trades Parents' Lives To Be The Flash Again; Ratings Went Down During Premiere?

"The Flash" season three just recently premiered and the events that transpired in the Flashpoint universe has shocked many of the viewers, and even disappointed quite a few. Barry once again changed the timeline, fearing that he will no longer be The Flash if the current timeline goes on.

Barry To Suffer The Consequences Of Changing The Timeline In "The Flash" Season 3

After the long wait, "The Flash" season three finally premiered following the huge cliffhanger during the second season finale when Barry went back into time to save his mother from being murdered by the Reverse Flash. Ultimately, this has created a huge change in the timeline since Barry would no longer be living with Joe and Iris.

The result to this turning point of the series was finally seen last night, during the premiere of "The Flash" season three. Naturally, Barry acted on emotion when his dad was murdered during the second season, thus resulting to him drastically making a big change in his life. Now that he saved his mother from being murdered years ago and saved his father from going to jail, his life is entirely different from what he used to live in.

The drastic change of events and the fear of not being The Flash anymore, especially with Wally as Kid Flash already, Barry messed with the timeline again to keep being the speedster that he is. Yet again, he goes back in time and allowed his mother to die to revert back to his original life.

In the coming episodes of the series, Barry will definitely suffer the consequences of his actions by keeping on changing the timeline. It is unclear yet how his life will be affected by his sudden impulsive decisions that he has based solely on his emotions.

"The Flash" Season 3 Premiere Decreased In Average Number Of Viewers Compared To Previous Seasons
