Tekken 7 Update: Miguel Returns As A Playable Character

Bandai Namco has recently released an update to their roster pool on the upcoming game Tekken 7. While there are several new characters who are making their first appearance on the game such as Josie Rizal, the first ever playable character from the Philippines. This time around, a familiar character from the past is making his way to the forthcoming Tekken game.

According to the reports from Polygon, Miguel Caballero Rojo or commonly known as Miguel will return on Tekken 7. As seen on the video footage released by Bandai Namco, the tough Spaniard is up to the challenge to avenge his sister's death while the gameplay trailer highlights Jin Kazama receiving a serious beatdown from the Spaniard. Miguel first appeared in Tekken 6 way back on 2009. He now joins several new characters that have been added on the game such as Nina Williams, Lee Chaolan, Bob, Master Raven and the very first 'Street Fighter' character to enter the Tekken world, Akuma.

Based on the reports from Attack of the Fanboy, the recently released gameplay trailer can be played through 1080p and 60fps. You can choose this to enjoy the gameplay in best possible quality. Similar to the other characters of the game, Miguel has numerous set of combos as well as having a Rage Art move that is expected to be his finishing move.

As of this writing, Bandai Namco has not yet released any statement regarding the release date of the game. However, it is highly expected to arrive in early 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It was also said that the game is playable through some arcade machines with a limited game feature and characters compared to the home version. Expansion packs for the home version will also be expected to arrive anytime soon that will include some of the game's missing characters.
