Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road To Boruto Updates: DLC To Feature Anime Ending; Bandai Namco Teases New Adventure Mode, Characters

Although Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto DLC scheduled release is still next year, Nick O'Leary from Bandai Namco Entertainment took the opportunity to tease players about the new expansion at the recent New York Comic-Con 2016. According to him, there will be a new adventure mode in the game and there would also be new faces to join the characters in the game.

Road to Boruto DLC Features Anime Ending

Based on an interview of O'Leary at NYCC 2016, the Road to Boruto DLC will connect the game's finale with the future of the anime series "Naruto Shippuden." Hence, players would get the chance to see the anime's ending in the game.

News on the newest anime episodes indicates that it seems as if there's a deliberate move to stall the airing of episodes based on the final manga chapters of "Naruto." The next few episodes of the anime would be character features not main episodes. The inclusion of the finale in the game may be one reason for it.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto Features

Bandai Namco may not have been forthcoming in giving specific details on what players can expect from the Road to Boruto DLC but one thing's for sure -the game will have an adventure mode and there will be new characters.

At the Twitch stage, the company gave players a sneak peek on what they would see in the game when it becomes available early next year. The demo gameplay features the battle between Sasuke and the mysterious character Kinshiki. With the game considered to be the last release for the Ultimate Ninja series, Bandai Namco reportedly spent a lot of time developing it as it would conclude the end of an era for the original "Naruto" franchise.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto DLC is scheduled for release on Feb. 3, 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
