Olympic swimmer and recent "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Ryan Lochte just popped the question and she said yes. The couple has been dating for less than a year.

The Olympic swimmer asked Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid to be his wife over the weekend and confirmed their engagement through a photo the couple posted on their social media accounts. Ryan Lochte posted a photo of him kissing Kayla who was already wearing the ring and captioned, "Memories forever!!! #thelochtes #LA."

Kayla Rae Reid also took to Instagram and posted the same scene with a different angle and wrote, "Speechless. Absolutely beautiful. So in love with YOU."

The engagement was not much of a surprise to fans since Lochte already teased about it in a recent interview. He said, "From the very first time I met her, everything has like clicked.' That's why I know I can propose to her because everything that's happened and she's been keeping me so positive. She doesn't care about my fame. She doesn't care about anything. All she cares about is me being happy."

The couple first met in January this year at a nightclub in Los Angeles. Kayla stuck by her man even during the robbery controversy back in Rio and this is one of the reasons why Ryan Lochte knew she was the one.

The "Dancing with the Stars" star was charged with making a false report when he claimed that he and three of his teammates were held at gunpoint in Rio during the Summer Games. "Whether you call it a robbery or whether you call it extortion or us just paying for the damages, we don't know," Lochte said. "All we know is that there was a gun pointed in our direction and we were demanded to give money." He later admitted that he over-exaggerated the story.
