PS4 Games That Will And Will Not Receive An Upgrade Patch

PS4 Pro will allow PS4 games to to display with a 4K resolution, run the game at a much smoother rate, and enhance other graphical elements of the game. At the recently concluded livestream event in New York, Sony has showcased some games that can be played on the PS4 Pro platform. Some of the games that have been released by Sony have PS4 Pro support. They are also planning to enhance some games to make it playable on the Pro. These games can be played on either 4K or 1080p display.

So far, there have been seven PS4 game titles that are already confirmed to have a PS4 Pro support. These include Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, The Elder Scrolls Online, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Fallout 4, Paragon, Thumper, and The Witness.

Aside from the advantages mentioned above, these PS4 games will also receive super sampling anti-aliasing, dynamic reflections, enhanced visual effects, improved rendering quality, consistent 60 FPS, enhanced lighting and graphic features.

On the other hand, Witcher and Destiny have been confirmed that they will not get PS4 Pro support. Bungie, however, said that a PS4 Pro support for Destiny could happen later. CD Projekt Red, the Witcher developer, said on the other hand that they are putting their full focus first on Gwent and Cyberpunk 2077. They also said that converting the game from full HD to 4K will require a lot of time and effort which they do not have at the moment.

Meanwhile, PS4 games such as Final Fantasy XV, FIFA 17, For Honor, Dishonored 2, Titanfall 2, Skyrim: Special Edition, spiderman, Mass Effect: Andromeda, The Last of US, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Battlefield 1, Days Gone, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Infamous: First Light are still yet unconfirmed whether they are getting a PS4 Pro support or not. Even all the Call of Duty series are still unconfirmed whether it will have the same support or not.
