Actor Tommy Ford Of The 90's Sitcom 'Martin' Dies At 52

Tommy Ford who has been in the famous 90's sitcom "Martin" has just died recently in Atlanta. The 90's actor has been on life support since he was delivered in a hospital after suffering ruptured aneurysm in his abdomen on Sunday. The actors conditioned continued to be worse which led to the decision to take off his life support.

It was reported in Mirror UK that Martin Lawrence posted a Tweet last Sunday stating " Prayers up for my brother @BigTommyFord and his family." Tommy Ford has been part of numerous shows in the 80's which includes "The Parks" and "The Jamie Foxx Show." His most recent role is being the Reverend in the show "Let's Stay Together" way back 2011. Tommy Ford's Twitter page description is an actor, director, writer, author, and motivational speaker.

It can be remembered that the actor just showed his recovering knee on an Instagram post which underwent physiotherapy for two weeks which makes his passing quite surprising. Tommy Ford even wrote last October 7th " Working hard in physical therapy! My progress is amazing! Thank you for all of your prayers and words of encouragement! I'm excited about getting back to work!"

However, it was just recently when the family provided a statement through Joy Pervis, the family's spoke person, saying that "It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, father, brother, husband and friend Tommy Mykal Ford,On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers." A lot of celebrity has given homage to Ford through their social media accounts, including Ricky Smiley, LL Cool J, Cedric the Entertainer, and Larry Wilmore

According to USA Today,Tommy Ford's website stated that the actor has been recently focusing on his career behind the cameras. Ford directed and produced a number of webisodes and is finishing a project entitled "Reverse The Lynch Curse" a documentary about distrust and envy.
