T-ara Announces Comeback Plan For November

T-ara will be making a comeback soon! MBK announced on Friday, Oct. 14 that the Korean girl group is currently preparing for a comeback. The group will join the list of November comebacks, which includes Shinhwa, Big Bang, Sechs Kies, Girl's Day, U-KISS and others.

"T-ara is currently preparing an album with the goal of releasing it in November," a source from MBK Entertainment said, according to Soompi. The upcoming release will be T-ara's first comeback for a year and three months since "So Good" in August 2015.

According to a report, the group will be working with Duble Sidekick for a mini album, which would consist of about three songs. The girls have previously worked for Duble Sidekick for the group's unit songs as well as for Jiyeon and Eunjung solo songs.

Originally a five-member group composed of Jiyeon, Jiae, Jiwon, Hyomin and Eunjung, T-ara debuted in 2009 under the label Core Contents Media, which is now called MBK Entertainment. Their first song "Good Person" released in April 2009 is an OST for Korean drama "Cinderella Man." Two months later, Jiae and Jiwon left the group and T-ara debuted with additional members Boram, Soyeon, and Qri as a six-member group. They released their first single, "Lie," in July 2009.

T-ara released their first studio album, "Absolute First Album," in November 2009. The said album's tracks, "Bo Peep Bo Peep" ranked at number four at the Gaon chart, while "Cheoeum Cheoreom" was at number 10. The group's first music show award was with "Bo Peep Bo Peep" in the New Year's episode of Music Bank

T-ara has since released four studio albums, two compilation albums, two remix albums, seven extended plays, 36 singles, and six promotional singles. Their latest album's title track, "So Crazy," composed by Brave Brothers, has surpassed one million views in two days.
