Porsche is a German car maker famous for its luxurious vehicles such as Cayman and Boxster. Recent news about the luxury car make is that it is now launching two models of the 718 Boxster.

What Is New On Porsche 718 Boxster S

Porsche Boxster is one of its famous sports cars. The automaker just revealed what is the latest about 718 Boxster S.

The Boxster S' original price is $69,450. It is indeed a hefty price, but the buyer needs to know why this sports car costs a lot. The 718 Boxter has dual-clutch automatic transmission Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) technology, which means that the driver can change gears without interrupting the car's power flow.

Also, the 718 Boxster S has exhaust system made of silver pipes. The inside of the car has leather interior and a Sport Chrono Package. It has a Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sport suspension allowing the brakes to support and apply maximum suspension on wheels. The car has navigation system, 20-inch Carrera S wheels and Porsche Connect Plus.

PASM helps the car to adapt damping and the sport suspension has a 0.9 inch-lower- ride and a Sport mode. The torque vectoring is for braking on a rear wheel around the corner.

According to TFL Car, Porsche is the only car maker that includes Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) technology in its gasoline-fueled cars, such as the 911 Turbo, 718 Cayman S and 718 Boxster S. 

718 Boxster's Turbo Power

There is a cpnnection between the 60-year-old Boxster to the newest models. There is a four-cylinder turbo power. Turbocharging will give their engines a boost unlike its predecessors, in a report on Car and Driver. Porsche wants the Boxster to run from 0 to 60 within five seconds.

It seems that Porsche is unstoppable because earlier this year, the car maker announced that it will be releasing Panamera Wagon 2018 even before 2017 Boxtser S was introduced.
