NBA Trade Rumors: 76ers Bringing In A New PG? Nuggets Wants Perry Jones III?

New NBA trade rumors have surfaced today and it includes Philadelphia 76ers getting a new point guard since Jerry Bayless is injured and not able to play. Meanwhile, forward Perry Jones III could be heading back to the U.S. after a short stint in Russia and Denver Nuggets could be the first to offer a spot.

According to coach Brett Brown, one of the major problem they are going through right now is what will they do without Bayless. He says "without Jerry, you search and you wonder," Although he mentioned he is also looking at 2016 undrafted rookie Cat Barber or Nik Stauskas but he hasn't closed his door for other options "We are obviously looking at the marketplace."

In one of his recent press interview, the coach was asked if he meant looking at the trade market, he replied: "We are looking at everything. Nobody should read into anything more than that. It's all on the table as it should be."

Experts analyze Sixers' situation and it looks like the team has many options to consider since their salary cap is below $27.9 million. This means the team can really consider bringing new help from the marketplace should its coach decide that none of its current point guards can take over while Bayless is injured.

In other news, Perry Jones III is said to be back soon after his brief overseas play with team BC Khimki of Russia. Reports claim that Denver Nuggets is among several teams that have reached out. Jones only have an average of 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds in the last three seasons but ranked 28th overall in the 2013 draft by Oklahoma City Thunder. In addition, the 6-foot-11 forward averaged 13.2 points with 7.4 rebounds in five games in the 2015 to 2016 NBA D-Leagues season. No confirmation yet whether Jones have accepted the offer or if he is considering joining other teams.
