Its anime is such a big hit that it was dubbed to different languages including English, German, French, Portuguese, Hindi, Hebrew, Indonesian, Vietnamese and many more.
Unfortunately, writer Yoshito Usui died in September 11, 2009 so the manga series had to end which was announced in October 16, 2009. However, the series had a new manga in 2010 which is reported to be continued by Usui's staff titled "New Crayon Shin-chan"
