The season of celebration and superstition is just two weeks away. Children are excited to wear their costumes to go door to door and scream "trick or treat". They get to bag lots of candies or if they're lucky, some cash. Halloween is almost here and I hope you're ready with your spooky decorations, horror movies, and most of all, your party foods.

If you still don't have any idea on what to prepare for Halloween , let me share you some food recipes that are easy and fun to make. These recipes are for all ages and good for your health too.

Marshmallow Witches

Maybe the easiest food to prepare on the list. Marshmallow is a versatile food. You can eat it as it is, you can roast it while you're in front of the bonfire or you can decorate them with the help of your kids. Decorating them isn't hard at all, all you need is creativity and whip cream. If you want to make it extra special, you can put some plastic wrapper and ribbon on.

Strawberry Ghosts

Another easy no cook food that is very simple, affordable and healthy. Preparing for this delicious recipe only takes around two minutes. Any food that is covered with chocolate is a thing of beauty. With strawberries natural color and dark chocolate all over it, it's the perfect combination.

Spider Web Donuts

Donuts, is there anything they can't do? Homer Simpson is right, who said you can't dress up donut? There's two options on how you can create spider web donuts. First, if you want to create your own donut, go ahead and do it, however if you want to buy one, then it's not a problem. The surface of a donut is a great canvas wherein you can draw a web using whip cream or icing.

Mummy Donuts

We all know that there's two kinds of donuts, one with a hole and one solid. As mentioned above, you can almost decorate anything on your donut. And creating a mummy donut is pretty easy. You don't need to have creativity with this recipe. All you need is to cover the whole donut with white cream, then put some two black icing that will represent as its eyes.

Eyeball Cookies

Spooky to look at but definitely a good food to eat. Cookies has and always been children's favorite food. You can almost eat cookies with any combination. You can eat it while drinking milk, you can eat it raw, and you can eat it with ice cream. Drawing an eyeball on top of the cookies will surely be eye catching once it's presented on the table.

Jack-o-Lantern Pie

You can't have a Halloween without the presence of Jack-o-lantern. The hardest on our list but it is also the main event on your bucket. Jack-o-lantern pie is hard to create not because the recipe is hard but it takes time to make it. This is not only for the kids but for adults too. There's no need to worry about leftovers because everything is edible. If you want to notch the level, you can put some hot sauce, salsa or seasonings. Best served with beer for adults.
