Surface Pro And Surface Book 2016 Almost Confirmed, New Leaks Spotted Online

Microsoft's 2016 event is roughly ten days away and fans are getting both excited and curious as to what the company has in store for them. So far the only thing the tech giant has confirmed on their teaser is that they'll be discussing something in relation to Windows 10. However, there were also rumors about new Surface devices. According to very recent hearsays, there will be a Surface desktop coming up alongside new the Surface Pro and Surface Book devices.

Microsoft To Upgrade The Surface Pro 4 And Surface Book

While everyone else was excited about the Surface Pro 5 and Surface Book 2, Microsoft might have something else planned for this year. Instead of releasing the next generation devices of their hybrid tablet and laptop, revamped models might be the ones to get released this month. This news started out as rumor weeks ago. However, a recent leak showed that this might as well be true.

Surface Pro 4 And Surface Book 2016 Versions Coming

Apparently, Amazon has now included the term "old version" in their listing of last year's Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, Win Beta reported. This only says one thing. There will be new Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book "versions" coming your way. Windows Central says that Amazon is given a heads up on new listings directly from companies. So, this news does make sense, and the retail giant might actually be cleaning its Surface stocks up before the new versions get released.

Surface Pro 4 And Surface Book 2016 Expected Upgrades

Since no new next-gen Surface devices are coming in this year, fans can expect to see improvements instead of major changes. With that said, Microsoft might be upgrading the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book with heftier internals to make them perform faster and smoother. There might not be a lot to see when it comes to their looks, but people can expect that this year's Surfaces will be made more powerful than the original releases. Whether or not the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book would be using Intel's Kaby Lake CPUs, it's still unconfirmed. However, it isn't impossible either.
