Since "Prison Break" season 5 was announced, speculations about the plot of the upcoming season are at an all-time high. The latest season spoiler is albeit a tragic and heartbreaking one.

Back in the last season's finale, Michael Scofield was seen sacrificing himself for the sake of his pregnant wife Sara who was played by actress Sarah Wayne Callies. He died while putting two generator wires together to knock out the power. Sara successfully escaped and was later seen with her child Michael Scofield Jr., Lincoln Burrows, Sucre, and Mahone visiting Michael's grave.

"Prison Break" Season 5 Spoilers

In the upcoming "Prison Break" season 5, it looks like Michael is very much alive but is serving a prison sentence at Ogygia Prison in Yemen. His brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Sara did not know about his being alive and jailed in Yemen. They were informed by T-Bag (Robert Knepper) and Lincoln went to Yemen to check him out.

Rumor has it that Sara will go to with Lincoln to Yemen to help him get Michael out of jail. It is a bit of a switch of roles between the brothers since it will be Lincoln who will break him out of jail this time.

It won't be a sweet reunion for the couple, though. Rumor has it that Sara Tancredi will die in the series. She will try to free Michael and possibly die in the process.

It was furthered fueled by the fact that actress Sarah Wayne Callies did a rigorous financial contract negotiation to play as Sara in the upcoming season. It is also said that she will leave the series after finishing the fifth season.

Her death in the series is just a rumor for now and fans will just have to wait for the series to air early next year. No actual date or time has been confirmed by the network yet, but it is speculated that it will be placed in a Tuesday 9PM slot.
