Why You Should Buy Battlefield 1, Perfect Campaign and Multiplayer Features

One of the hottest first-person shooters of 2016 is about to debut this coming October 21. Fans all over the world are enthralled by its mesmerizing visuals and engaging storylines - albeit fictional, EA games has successfully captivated the atmosphere of World War 1.

Set in the ruins of The First War, Battlefield 1 takes players into an amazing and heartfelt journey paved with conflict, sacrifice and determination towards the end of the war. This elation for a masterpiece was told by a Gamespot reviewer. He depicted it as:

"Battlefield 1 wastes little time in conveying the savagery of World War 1. The inevitability of death is the focus of the bleak story prologue. A burning man's screams can be heard at the start of every multiplayer match in the Argonne Forest. It's ruination on a multi-continental scale, a conflict so large that its location menus showcase a large portion of the Earth. EA DICE splendidly interprets the early 20th century as a world in technological transition while humanizing the war's participants through well crafted, albeit fictional, narrative vignettes. Combined with an enthralling multiplayer component, the overall result is the studio's best work since Battlefield: Bad Company 2."

Battlefield 1 is indeed a masterpiece of its own especially when it comes to the storyline campaign. But is it the only reason why you should buy the game? Well of course not! There's more to this game that meets the eye.

Multiplayer Mode

Aside from its enthralling campaign, battlefield 1 offers a wide array of multiplayer options for you and your friend's delight - there's Operations, Team Deathmatch, War Pigeons, Domination and Rush.

Operations requires a lot of coordination from all your teammates. It involves a strategic attack and defense brawl which may involve multiple maps during the process.

Team Deathmatch however is your classic team brawl but has some "tweaks" for an added unique element to it.

War Pigeons as the name implies, you're main focus of this game is to reach a pigeon (pigeons serve as a means to communicate with one another during The First War) and try to writer a message without dying. You get a score once you successfully written and release your dear bad boy.

Domination this multiplayer mode is similar to World of Warcraft's Arathi Basin. Basically, the objective of this game is to dominate the map by capturing key points (bases) and hold your ground for as long as you can. Each captured bases adds to your team's total points and the longer you hold a base, the quicker the points will add up. The key to winning this game is to capture and hold as many bases as you can.

Rush is one of the most favorite multiplayer games for those that have already played Battlefield 1 (Play First). Rush, much like Operations, requires a lot of coordination between you and your team. The settings of this game involves 2 teams each comprising of 12 players and face against each other in a spontaneous sneak and rush attack. The focus of this game, if you're on the attacking side, is to destroy the outpost of a defending team and prevent them from calling an artillery strike to wipe up your team. The goal for the defending team is to hold back the sneaking attackers and prevent them from totally destroying your outpost. It involves a lot of intense action throughout the map as there'll be multiple outpost locations per map and each map also has varied locations of posts.

Battlefield 1 is definitely an exciting game for you and your friends and even with the family (if they're into these kind of games). You'll definitely wouldn't want to miss this game for your bucket list!
