Call of Duty has been updated and it will fix major bugs on multiplayer mode and Zombies for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Also, new weapons are added with the latest update of COD. The update checks out at 1.9GB or 2.8GB depending on the console.

Two new melee weapons are added and are now available to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers. Aside from these two, an SMG and a Special weapon are released with the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 update as well, upping the new weapon count to four.

Treyarch is also working on ways to secure the stability of the connection and the network with the latest Call of Duty Black Ops 3 patch. Some improvements were detailed to have "Identified and eliminated various behind-the-scenes errors which contributed to in-game hitching" (via PlayStation Lifestyle).

Fixes are made to the Black Market unexpected pop-up and Lighting Dark Arena Challenge bugs. Problems of the sudden deaths of players whether they were just standing in a specific location in the map have been solved, too. A bug related to Summoning key while the Pack-a-Punched weapon is equipped is also fixed, according to Playstation Lifestyle.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 3 patch also brings a lot of fixes to Zombies mode, which was riddled with bugs causing players to go into a zombie match only to be greeted with a white screen and a bug that "caused a promotional banner to stretch across a large portion of the screen in Dr. Monty's Factory."

Treyarch will continue to fix the bugs in order to create an exciting game for the gamers without any interruptions. Director David Vonderhaar has tweeted what he thinks of focusing on Call of Duty within a span of one year. He said that the company will continue to update the game whenever it is necessary
