‘My Hero Academia’ Season 2 Updates: Air Date Delayed; Katsuki Captured By Villains

"My Hero Academia" season 2 is slated to air next year. Fans are more than excited to watch more about the characters and their journey in the academy to become stronger that what they are. May plot rumors and theories had surfaced online and it sure looks like another awesome season for "My Hero Academia."

"My Hero Academia" Season 1 Finale Recap

The season finale episode of "My Hero Academia" season 1 started after All Might defeated Nomu with one final punch. Realizing the All Might had weakened, the League of Villains leader Tomura Shigaraki made his move to attack. Realizing that All Might is in trouble, Deku sacrificed himself and got his legs destroyed. But before he gets hurt further, Tenya Iida and more reinforcements arrived.

Shigaraki and his sidekick Kurogiri was forced to retreat leaving the U.A. High School students victorious but badly hurt. Deku's teacher Eraserhead and Space Hero surprisingly survived their injuries. Healing Girl managed to heal most of their injuries however, Eraserhead's eyes seemed to have been badly damaged beyond repair while All Might's power has greatly diminished after the battle.

The series ended on a cliffhanger. It was teased that the real leader of the League of Villains was yet to be revealed. However, a deep and dark voice was heard and an ominous looking villain was shown hovering on top of a building were seen during post-credit.

"My Hero Academia" Season 2 Spoilers

Speculations arise that the villains will be much stronger in the upcoming "My Hero Academia" season 2. The villains will try to attack the student outside of the school but will ultimately lose. However, it is rumored that they will be able to capture Katsuki Bakugo and turn him into one of them. The majority of fans think that Katsuki will successfully be saved before he turns into a villain himself.

"My Hero Academia" Season 2 English Dubbing Cause of Delay?

It was reported that similar to the first season of "One Punch Man," the upcoming season will also be dubbed in English to capture more audience. It is rumored that the air date which has been speculated to be in April 2017 will be moved to a much further date due to the English dubbing.
