Fast And Furious 8' News Update: Dom's Character Changes, 'Oscar Worthy' Diesel Said

After the showing of the latest installment of Fast and Furious, fans are eagerly waiting for what's next. But today, Vin Diesel, one of the lead characters of the hit film, assured everyone that Fast and Furious 8 would be exciting than the usual - in speeds unseen before.

According to Auto Blog, the upcoming installment would be different as it gives a darker storyline. In addition to this is the presence of F. Gary Gray that would surely increase the number of viewers in the cinema. Gray, for the reader's information, is a well-known director and filmmaker of the hit Straigt Outta Compton. He was known for setting high standard in movies that he is making. The question is this: how could he put the Fast And Furious standards higher, if it is already high enough?

On the other hand, Diesel admitted that his character Toretto would be struggling in this time. He is deeply affected by Brian O'Conner's retirement in the life that they were used to living.

Cinema Blend told that Diesel in an interview said:

Fast 8 is different. It's very dark. My character is conflicted in a way that is really going to shock you. He's coming off of a lot of emotion from 7 and the loss that 7 represents. It's kind of cold-blooded. It's going to hit you like a ton of bricks.

The Fast and Furious 7 leaves it viewers holding their tears as Paul Walker says goodbye to the show. Fans felt emotionally affected in the clip of Brian and Dom separating ways and drifting on to a new life - separate this time.

Supporters from all over the world are much excited with what's going to happen in Fast and Furious 8. With a staggering box office gross of 1.516 billion dollars for its seventh installment, what could Fast and Furious 8 offer differently?
