As a tribute, they re-enacted some of the famous scenes of Tom's movies over the past years.

The duo began with the re-enactment of "Top Gun," wherein they wore aviators and olive bomber jackets while they said its most famous line that goes "I feel the need; the need for speed." Thus, they began to transition from one movie to another; changing costumes, hairstyles in a very rapid pace, while doing it all seamlessly. Though they had so little time to re-enact so many of Tom Cruise's movies, they were able to deliver it with such poise and awe. They went through three decades worth of famous action films that made breakthrough in cinemas.

They also went through all the "Mission Impossible" movies that Tom has ever made, both pretending to hang from a ceiling, racing motorcycles, pulling off face masks, climbing the side of a building and even boarding a moving plane. They were definitely able to pull it off, along with his other movies such as "Days of Thunder," "Rain Man," Tropic Thunder," The Last Samurai," and "Interview with the Vampire." They also made it through one of the "Show me the Money scenes wherein Cuba Gooding Jr. made a cameo appearance, telling Corden "If you're gonna do it, let me do it right." This then got the audience all the more entertained with the re-enactments.

This tribute to Tom Cruise's old movies serves as a way to promote his upcoming film "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" which will hit the theatres this Friday, October 21, 2016.
