Unexpected Achievements: Celebrity's Ride To Fame

Celebrities are admired because of how they project themselves to the world. They are synonymous with beauty and success; but there is more than meets the eye. These celebrities are also achievers. They also have dreams and aspirations of success even before they entered the entertainment and film industry.

Here are some of the celebrities who had their achievements unlocked even way before the glitz and glam of the entertainment industry:

1. Emma Watson

As cited in Celebrity Dirt, even before Emma starred and gained all the fame in the hit movie Harry Potter, she didn't allow herself to stop there. Despite having massive number of commitments and schedule, the actress didn't give up on her schooling. She was juggling acting and attending school at Oxford University and Brown University.

She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. Watson had a great time doing both as it helped her design her own major and have independent studies. While she was at Brown, she could choose her own class and learn the things she would like to learn.

2. Christy Turlington Burns

Burns is one of the most popular models in the industry. She went to different model stints but still remained famous and successful. However, with the fame and the fortune that she is getting from the industry that she chose, the model decided to pursue more.

Thus, in year 1994 she went back schooling in Gallatin School of Individualized Study, she finished a Bachelors Degree in Eastern Philosophy and Comparative Religion as cum laude. But that didn't end there, the most sought-after model went to Columbia University and started working on a Master's degree in public health.

3. Rowan Atkinson

We all know him as Mr. Bean- a popular character who acts weird and strange to everyone. According to The Richest, Rowan Atkinson is actually admired because of his intelligence and brilliance. In 1975, he had his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at NewCastle University and pursued a Master's program at the Queen's College at Oxford University.

Atkinson, not forgetting his craft in acting, was involved in the Oxford University Dramatic Society. Through this, he began his classic portrayal of Mr. Bean.

4. Reese Witherspoon

Famous in her role in Legally Blonde, Reese Witherspoon has something more to brag regarding her life.

The actress has always dreamt of becoming a famous actress someday but that didn't stop her in pursuing her education. Witherspoon has been known as an achiever and a bookworm ever since. As a matter of fact, she went to Stanford University and pursued her education. However, the actress decided to pause for a while and concentrate in her opportunity of going Hollywood.

In an interview, she said:

''I just don't see any of it as that remarkable. Maybe that's the attitude I choose to have to keep me sane and keep my feet on the ground. I grew up in an environment where women accomplished a lot.''

5. Natalie Portman

One of the famous and most sought-after actresses of all time is Natalie Portman. Her brilliance and passion in acting is very evident in all the roles that she was portraying. But aside from that, the actress is also tagged as one of the smartest and the achievers in the entertainment world.

The actress knows different languages and is fluent on it: Arabic, Japanese, English, Hebrew and French. She graduated from the prestigious school Harvard University with a degree in Psychology. Not just that, she took a course that would improve her talent in dancing at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

The actress also passed two researches papers that served as a lecture in Columbia University. The Black Swan actress admitted that she would rather choose education more than staying as a popular movie star.
