5 Most Outrageous Episodes From 20 Seasons of 'South Park'

"South Park" in its two-decade existence is now a pop culture staple and has been a source of laughs while managing to maintain being bold, shocking, and controversial. The show is now in its 20th Season and here is a list to look back on some of the most outrageous moments that "South Park" has given us through the years.

"The Simpsons Already Did It" (Season 6, Episode 7)

One of the most memorable and classic episode of "South Park." The episode tackles how every idea in the episode has already been done by popular animated series "The Simpsons." It shows how Cartman was worshiped as a god by the Sea People which was a miniature society that was formed in his fish tank, a story line which was already done by "The Simpsons." The episode also shows how every invention of Professor Chaos has been already invented by "The Simpsons" and it drove him to snap and sees everyone around him as a Simpsons-esque character. "Goddammit, how come every time I think of something clever, The Simpsons already did it?" was the most popular line in the episode.

"More Crap" (Season 11, Episode 9)

"South Park" really hit Bono big in this episode. It started with Randy being constipated and when he was finally able to take a dump, before flushing he realized and was amazed by how big his poop was. He showed it to some of his friends and encouraged him to apply for the world record. They learned that U2 singer Bono was the record holder and he was not too happy about the new world record. Later on, they find out about Bono's past. He was actually an oversized piece of crap (literally!) which eventually turned into the famous U2 singer the world knows today.

"The Return of Chef" (Season 10, Episode 1)

Isaac Hayes who was the voice of Chef left the series after having a conflict with the series creators for the treatment of Scientology. Hayes is a member of the religion and he took offense when a previous episode titled "Trapped in the Closet" showed how his religion brainwashed people and that Chef has also been brainwashed too. "The Return of Chef" told the story of Chef after the boys realized he was brainwashed. They tried restored him to his previous self but he was kidnapped shortly. It was said that creators purposely killed the character in such a ruthless manner because they did not appreciate Hayes quitting the show.

"Bloody Mary" (Season 9, Episode 14)

The episode criticized both Catholicism and the Alcoholics Anonymous program. It shows Randy as an alcoholic who got his driver's license revoked and was forced to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. He started believing that he cannot control his alcoholism since it is a disease that cannot be cured so he proceeded to drink more. Later on, a statue of the Virgin Mary began bleeding out of its behind and that people came to it to get cured of their diseases. Randy believed that this is the answer to his so-called disease. Pope Benedict XVI checked it out and declared that the blood was coming from the statue's lady parts instead. "South Park" received 102 formal complaints from viewers after the show aired.

"It Hits The Fan" (Season 5, Episode 1)

The episode showed how the word "s**t" was said uncensored for 162 times, written 38 times totaling to 200. It started when a crime show titled, "Cop Drama" was said uncensored on TV during the episode. After it was aired, everyone including the boys started throwing the word repeatedly. The episode even has a counter on the screen to show the viewers how many times it was said. Later on, the boys learned that the word is cursed and it triggered an illness that causes people to throw up their intestines and die. The episode ended with Kenny getting the illness and dying.
