People No Longer Turn A Blind Eye As A New iPhone 7 Explosion Case Surfaces

Now that a new iPhone 7 explosion case has surfaced, it's already hard for consumers to think that this is just another isolated case for Apple. The company may or may not suffer from this controversy, but this is a clear eye opener that Samsung isn't the only one who did something wrong with their smartphones.

Apple iPhone 7 Caught Fire In A Vehicle

As per a GSM Arena report, surfer Mat Jones was the latest victim of phone explosion. It was said that the guy left his phone in his car and when he came back, all he saw was a smoke-filled vehicle. Apparently, the phone might have overheated causing ignition and fire. While most people could blame the outside heat for this certain explosion, it's worth noting that the phone was covered in clothes when it caught fire.

As per the owner's testimony, ash could be seen from one of his pants and when he un-wrapped the fabric, he was able to find the melted phone inside of it. This goes without saying that no phone is exempted from explosion risks. Samsung might have handled a larger amount of explosion cases, but it doesn't mean that other brands have zero risks.

Apple iPhone 7 Explosion Cases

According to Express UK, there was also an iPhone 7 explosion case that occurred while the phone was being used. As per the report, a certain man was recording a video using his iPhone 7 when the device caught fire and the flying glass injured his face. Furthermore, a different case of iPhone explosion was also reported earlier this month. Surprisingly, it involves last year's iPhone 6S.

According to a woman named Yvette Estrada, the phone started to sizzle and pop before the whole device caught fire. Estrada and her husband had to throw the phone to a sink to put out the fire. Needless to say, the short-term fire was enough to damage the couple's bedside dresser.

While these may not be confirmed by Apple, these cases are enough reminders to people that no gadget is safe from explosions. Mobile devices, plugged into a charger or not, are prone to overheating. Thus, it is important to avoid your smartphones from encountering heating problems.
