NBA Trade Rumors: Are The Wizards Interested In Rubio, Will The New York Knicks Make It To The NBA PlayOffs?

NBA trade rumors are still persistent in suggesting that the head of Ricky Rubio is still on the Minnesota Timberwolves' trading block. A recent trade scenario has surfaced on the internet which says that the trade involves the Boston Celtics, Ricky Rubio, and John Wall. It seems that the Celtics are being linked frequently to some of the All-Star players these couple of weeks.

The Trade Deals Are Being Exposed

The NBA trade rumors seem to point to a four-player, three-team exchange that will bring John Wall, an NBA All-Star to Beantown. Meanwhile, Ricky Rubio will go to the Washington Wizards and three first-round draft picks, one in 2018 and two others in 2019. This deal scenario will have the Timberwolves getting a power forward Jonas Jerebko and NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas.

The New York Knicks Are Primed For The Playoffs

There are also NBA trade rumors that suggest the New York Knicks are now primed for the NBA Playoffs. The team was able to reach that far last season. But will this season's team be able to get them past that?

This team has faced challenges in recent years; therefore if they make it to the NBA postseason, the fans will really get elated at their Madison Square Garden home court. A report from the New York Daily considers the current Knicks roster as a playoff team - if they can be healthy all the way. Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose were unable to get uninjured while they were with the Chicago Bulls.

"The question is going to be health," says Reggie Miller, himself a former NBA player and now a TNT analyst. "You are wondering if Noah and Rose can get to the finish line because of the health problems over the last few seasons. Are they better on paper?" he asked. "Absolutely. I just hope they can get to the finish line. If they can stay healthy for 82 games, they have a real shot of making the playoffs in the East," Miller added.
