Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 from Telltale is now available for free across all platforms. The developer has even thrown in discounts for the game's sequels.
Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 is available to download for free on PlayStation Network, Xbox Marketplace, Google Play, iOS App Store, Amazon Appstore and other platforms where it can be downloaded. It is also available in Windows 10 via Microsoft's Store, PC Gamer reported.
Minecraft: Story Mode Discounts
As of now, Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 is only free for download on PS3 and PS4 in North America. It is not yet available in Europe, but Telltale announced that it will be "VERY soon."
While Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 is free to download, other chapters will have a price - but at a discounted rate. Those who enjoyed the first chapter will be able to continue playing the whole bundle by buying the Season Pass, Season Pass Deluxe, Adventure Pass and The Complete Adventure with a discount.
Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure Release Date, Price
The Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure will feature the originally planned five episodes and three bonus episodes from Adventure Pass. It will arrive Tuesday, Oct. 25 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One with a $29.99 price tag. A PC version is yet to be announced. For fans in Europe, they can get their hands on the title a bit later on Oct. 28.
"In Minecraft: Story Mode, playing as either a male or female hero named 'Jesse,' you'll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond," the official description reads.
Minecraft: Story Mode is a spin-off from Telltale of the wildly popular 'Minecraft,' which started as an indie game on PC. It went on to acquire millions, even billions, of daily users from multiple platforms.
