Don't Knock Twice Updates, Release Date: Demo Now Available On Steam

Don't Knock Twice will not be available until next year but gamers are now given the chance to experience it firsthand through a Virtual Reality (VR) demo released on Steam. The new horror game is set to be released March 2017.

Don't Knock Twice VR Experience Demo

Wales Interactive recently released a virtual reality (VR) demo of Don't Knock Twice on Steam just in time for Halloween. According to PC Gamer, the demo is available exclusively for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive users, while Playstation VR owners will have their chance later this year.

Don't Knock Twice is based on a movie of the same title about a woman getting entangled with an urban legend of a demonic witch while trying to save her daughter. Just like the film, the game's setting will be on a haunted house where players can interact virtually with any objects that could help unlock the mystery behind the urban tale.

What makes the game even scarier is its implementation of first-person VR. With the help of the VR headsets, players will be experiencing 3D sound-system that will shock, surprise and make them want to run but still continue their quest on Don't Knock Twice.

Availability To Other Consoles, Release Date

Along with the VR edition for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and soon-to-be-released Playstation VR, Don't Knock Twice will also have a standard version for Playstation 4, Xbox and PC. This will give players across different platforms the chance to experience the upcoming horror game

Users of Oculus Rift and HTC Vive seemed very enthusiastic that they got to try the demo of Don't Knock Twice, first. The VR headsets are two of the best when it comes to 3D experience that might be the reason why Wales Interactive decided to release the demo between the two headsets.

As reported, Wales Interactive is planning to release Don't Knock Twice next year, preferably March 2017. In the meantime, players can use the demo offered as a preview of what the game will be like in its full release.
