"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4, episode 5 titled "Lockup" will reveal that Lucy tried to construct a particle generator primarily because she wanted to create "something" out of it. Meanwhile, everyone is now running after Darkhold. Will S.H.I.E.L.D. be able to get ahead of Lucy?

Lucy In Search For Darkhold

While meeting Eli Morrow (Jose Zuniga) at the prison cell in the previous episode, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Mack (Henry Simmons) discovered that Lucy (Lilli Birdsell) once tried to make a particle generator back in her experiments, but failed without the necessary element. Thus, Lucy and her fellow ghosts set out to find Darkhold. Coulson noted that they will be in a tight race against Lucy's team in finding the Darkhold as no one in history ever was able to land their hands on it.

May Comes Back, Daisy In Danger

After her wrestling against spirits and death, Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) finally comes back just right in time as S.H.I.E.L.D. and Ghost Rider (Jose Zuniga) badly need her help in finding Darkhold. As Robbie Reyes cannot control Ghost Rider, Daisy Johnson (Chloe Benett) and the rest of the agents will be put in danger.

Episode 4: "Let Me Stand Next To Your Fire" Recap

In the previous episode, Johnson and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) discovered that the Watchdogs hacked an Inhuman's monitoring device. After tracing the whereabouts of the group, Johnson and Simmons were able to find J.T James (Axle Whitehead) and whacked his monitor, only to find out that the Inhuman didn't want to be one so he gave the Watchdogs access to his monitor.

As Coulson and Mack paid a visit to Morrow in prison, they met Reyes by chance as he was also there to talk to the convict. Reyes found out that the Momentum blast was a team of scientists boning up the Darkhold. Coulson and Mack were able to win over Reyes' side.
