There have been a lot of speculations and rumors about the release of "Rick and Morty" season 3 going around. Latest reports spoiled the animated sci-fi comedy series' plot, including the appearance of Inter-Dimensional Cable 3, the escapade of the characters to Hawaii, and the return of Evil Morty from the dead.

Inter-Dimensional Cable 3

One of the biggest revelations to come is the Inter-Dimensional Cable 3. Adult Swim first promised to put at least one cable in each season but later on withdraw that statement for the upcoming season. For one, season 2 didn't do well with the episodes. Primarily, the cable has access to all TV channels in the entire universe.

Rick Escapes Intergalactic Prison

According to recent speculations, "Rick and Morty" will kick off season 3 with Rick escaping the intergalactic prison where season 2 left off. But the question remains how exactly Rick will manage to flee. It can be noted though that the creators of the series are hesitant to continue the storyline from the previous season. In one way or another, Rick should be able to escape the intergalactic prison.

Evil Morty's Return

Considering the idea of continuity, Evil Morty is the perfect candidate to return on the show. The character became popular when it was introduced during the first season. It could be quite interesting how the creatives would revive Evil Morty and how he will be doing. Evil Morty killed 27 Ricks as he was seizing and afflicting hundreds of Morties.

Hawaii Escapade

In previous reports, "Rick and Morty" co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland already revealed their intent to bring the characters to a new location: Hawaii. In fact, they even asked for the network's nod before they embark on a new adventure.

In other plot rumors, "Rick and Morty" season 3 is said to also shed light on the problems surrounding Morty's parents, Beth and Jerry. According to reports, they might end up in divorce. Meanwhile, there have been rumors too that "Fast and Furious" actor Vin Diesel will also be voice-guesting on the show. These reports, however, have not been confirmed.

"Rick and Morty" season 3 is expected to hit the airwaves in December.
