Honda Civic Type-R Is Set To Appear In Upcoming SEMA Show

Honda, one of the leading motor companies from Japan and also known as one of heavyweight players in the auto industry has been continuously bringing quality cars over the years and continues to do so. Honda cars enthusiasts will have something to look forward to as the Japanese car brand will be making the Honda Civic Type-R's presence felt in the upcoming SEMA Show 2016 that will be held in Las Vegas a couple of days from now.

The SEMA Show "Civicpalooza"

A lot of people are excited to get a glimpse of the new Honda Civic Type-R that is scheduled to make its U.S. debut in the upcoming Special Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show. Apparently, the Type-R will be the headline in what is now being referred to as the "Civicpalooza" by Honda as reported by Leftlane. In the same report, people can expect a total of nine civic projects that will all be present in the event along with Honda's performance development team that will be showing some demonstrations.

What Honda Enthusiasts Can Expect

Aside from the Honda Civic Type-R, auto enthusiasts can also look forward to seeing cars that belong to the 10th generation Civic racing vehicles such as the Civic Coupe race car from the 2016 Red Bull Global Rallycross. PR Newswire also reported that racers from the Coupe Team of Honda in the Racing West Endurance will also be there.

Expected Specs Of The 2017 Honda Civic Type-R

Nashville Chatter Class reported that the car may come with a VTEC 2.0-liter turbo engines that are seen in many Honda vehicles nowadays. However, it will be capable of 400NM peak torque and 300 break horsepower that allow the Honda Civic Type-R to go from zero to 60mph in just a little over six seconds.

Honda car enthusiasts are probably getting more and more excited about the event. The SEMA show is in a couple of days and all they have to do is attend, check things out and enjoy.
