“Haikyuu!!” Season 3 Episode 4 revealed the nerve-wracking battle between Karasuno and Shiratoriza as the two teams battle it out in an action-packed second set exchanging deuces. Meanwhile, Episode 5 is all about the impending third set, which will determine the course of the match.

“Haikyuu!!” Season 3 has delivered its most intense episode yet when it aired Episode 4 titled “The Halo Around The Moon” last week. The episode focused on the remaining moments of the second set, which was filled with powerful attacks, blocks, and strategies. Karasuno’s strategy “Total Defense” has finally set in and the Crows are finally taking advantage of it.

Episode 4 finally showed the weaknesses of Shiratorizawa, which made viewers understand that Shiratorizawa is as hardworking as Karasuno. The second match was met with an intense battle of deuces as both teams struggle to gain a two-point lead to win the second set. Eventually, Karasuno won the second match with a score of 31-29 when Tsukishima shockingly and effectively blocked Ushijima’s powerful strike for the final score.

Now that Karasuno has won a set, they have tied with Shiratorizawa and clearly the third set in this finals match will be a thrilling one as it will determine the course of the rest of the game. “Haikyuu!!” Season 3 Episode 5 titled “Individual VS Numbers” will be aired this weekend and teases Karasuno’s Hinata craving to score against Ushijima as well. But fans who followed the manga know that the next episode will focus more on Tsukishima for his new found love for volleyball as he gives his best to help win the third set for Karasuno.
