‘Outlander' Finale Spoilers And Updates: Never Before Seen Clip Reveals Cryptic Plan of Claire; Series End After Book 10 Is Released?

It's still a long way before fans can see the premiere episode of "Outlander" season 3 but it should never stop the fans from enjoying the treats that the season 2 finale episode is offering. It has some deleted scenes from the finale episode which will be released on November 1.

What Is Shown In The Video Footage

In the video footage, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) decided to stay in Scotland for another day. Roger (Richard Rankin) suggested some ideas on how they could better spend the day. But if he intends to lead Brianna into a tourist trap such as Loch Ness, he has definitely lost his wits.

Eventually, they decided to "find some history." Meanwhile, Claire is entertaining some ideas that are more focused on "Brianna's father." Fans of "Outlander" will recall how those gallivanting days in Scotland usually end up. Roger and Brianna encountered Geillis Duncan before she even was Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek). This is how they discovered that there is such a thing as time travel.

Author Of "Outlander" Season 3 Plans To End It After The 10th Novel

The author of the book where "Outlander" season 3 and its previous seasons were based is planning to end the series after it reaches its 10th novel. Fans will be surprised to learn about this but Diana Gabaldon, the author of "Outlander" actually started writing it just to win an argument.

"I wrote the first book for practice; I wasn't going to show it to anyone," said Gabaldon in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. She also teases that one of the mysteries in the series will be answered eventually. Gabaldon reveals that as this mystery is solved, her epic novel will soon end. "It'll be the very last thing in the last book, which I think is probably book 10," she said.
