Doctor Strange Movie Review: Cinematic Visual Effects And Superb Storyline

After the release of it's first-ever trailer, fans have already reminded themselves as to when Doctor Strange would finally go out in the big screen. Viewers were left in the cinema satisfied and craving for more after watching the box-office movie. To add in its greatness is the post-credit scene that it has shown after the end of the movie.

Doctor Strange Brings You In The Marvel Universe

According to Wired, the most noticeable thing that viewers have observed while watching Doctor Strange is not its world-class visual effect nor its action -packed storyline; but how the movie puts you right into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a world different from the usual. People, because of the movie's brilliance, did not notice that the actual running time is two hours.

What Makes Doctor Strange's Storyline Unusual?

The story revolves around a man whose name was Stephen Strange. He is a neurosurgeon who has a great resemblance in the character of Tony Stark. During the story, he underwent a car accident that made his hands worthless. Eager to find a cure for his recovery, he encounterd Jonathan Pagborn, who is played by Benjamin Bratt, a paraplegic who eventually led him to Kamar-Taj in Nepal. From there, he would be able to meet the Ancient One and Karl Mordo, played by Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor; respectively. He also encountered Kaecilius who tried to stole a spellbook; which would give him the ability to combine Earth with a creature in the Dark Dimension to have eternal life.

The movie displayed a great role of diversity in its storyline and plots. With all the so-called 'magic' that would be encountered in this film, it would offer you a great mix of the movies that you have watched before. The movie also offers a wide-range of characters ranging from the support up to its antagonists. Speaking of antagonists, the portrayal of the villain of the movie was also brilliant as it instilled fear in its viewers.

According to some sources, the best thing about Doctor Strange is the ability of the character to go beyond the reality. It showed great visual effects of how Stephen was transported in different places. On other news,Time stated that Doctors Strange is related to the Marvel movies released before. Strange, after defeating the villains, was told that the Eye of Agamotto, which gave him the ability to rewind and fast-forward time, is an Infinity Stone. The Infinity Stone is familiar to all Marvel viewers as it was already termed in the previous films - Tesseract in Avengers and Orb in Guardians of the Galaxy. These stones would play a huge and essential role in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity Wars, in which Cumberbatch has already confirmed his reprise of the role.

Doctor Strange Would Be Seen In Thor: Ragnarok

In the film's post-credit, the famous magician helped Thor to find out where his father is. This situation made everyone speculate that Benedict Cumberbatch would be joining Thor Ragnarok along with Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins and Cate Blanchett.
