White Nexus 4 Photos Leaked

Images of a white version of the Google Nexus 4 phone have leaked online, and other than the new color, it appears to be identical to the black version. These new photos have leaked at a time when the phone is already in high demand with consumers. Ever since the black version of the Google Nexus 4 launched in November, retailers have found it hard to keep it in stock.

"Supplies from the manufacturer are scarce and erratic, and our communication has been flawed. I can offer an unreserved apology for our service and communication failures in this process," said Dan Cobley, Google UK & Ireland Managing Director on his Google+ page.

The LG-built phone has turned out to be a massive hit and sold out almost immediately in the U.K. and U.S. as soon as it became available. It was reported that the entire Google Play Store stock of the Google Nexus 4 sold out in just 30 minutes. Ebay sellers were selling the phone at marked up prices way above retail price. Prices went as high as $650 for the $349 16GB model. Huge demand of the phone also caused retailers issues with keeping the phone stocked. "We are working closely with Google to ensure that those who wish to purchase a handset are able to do so," said Andy Coughlin, the head of mobile at LG UK.

It was reported Tuesday that the phone was finally back in stock in Germany, Canada and the U.S. As of today (Jan. 30), the phone is back in stock for the UK, France and Australia. The gallery of leaked photos of the white Nexus 4 as shown on Tinhte, hints that we may get to know the release date soon.

A few days after the initial release of the black Nexus 4, it was rumored that the white version of the phone would be made available in December. It's possible that the release of the white variant was delayed due to the ongoing supply issues of the black model. As the buzz continues to build, it's clear that the white Nexus 4 is sure to give the identical color schemed iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3a run for their money.
