"General Hospital" returning guest star Ingo Rademacher is set to appear in one of this week's episodes as Jasper "Jax" Jacks. Latest reports pointed out that the actor's contract is under negotiation. Will Jax's fans see more of Rademacher on the soap in the coming weeks? Here's what he says about his return.

Jax Attends Morgan's Funeral

Ingo Rademacher is finally returning this week on "General Hospital" as the fan favorite Jax. Rademacher's slated appearance on the noontime soap is already the second time for this year. Jax's comeback scene is at Morgan's (Bryan Craig) funeral. It can be noted that Jax had been Morgan's father figure after Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) took a break from the show at some point. Jax was last seen in August.

How Long Will Jax Be Staying?

Many Jax fans are apparently rejoicing with the character's comeback at Port Charles as Morgan's funeral would not be complete without him. The question, however, is: how long will Jax be staying on the show? CBS has already outlined Rademacher's reprisal role for this week. Even so, latest reports revealed that fans might be seeing more of Rademacher of "General Hospital." Despite this being unconfirmed by the network and showrunners, there have been hints of Rademacher becoming a regular soon.

In the meantime, Rademacher told Soap Opera Digest: "[Executive Producer] Frank Valentini and I didn't really say anything. It's kind of random. I don't know if this is going to be a continuous thing because I haven't had a conversation with him about it." Currently, Rademacher is busy taping for "Hawaii Five-0" and running his apparel business.

"General Hospital" airs Mondays thru Fridays at 12:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
