It can be recalled that in the last season of "The Originals," Klaus's potential romantic interest Camille (Leah Pipes) had died. With reports saying that she will no longer be returning for the upcoming fourth season, this may give way for Caroline to crossover the series when "The Vampire Diaries" comes to an end. However, with Stefan proposing a marriage to Caroline and the latter accepting, will there be a chance for Caroline and Klaus at all?

It seems that the answer to that is yes, Klaus and Caroline could still have a chance to rekindle their romance. Based on the how the storyline went with "The Vampire Diaries," it looks like Sybil is going to sabotage Stefan and Caroline's wedding by using Damon. She has sent the latter to murder Bonnie and it looks like this will be happening on the wedding day. Thus, this then prohibits Stefan from having any happy ending at all. According to the actor Paul Wesley, who plays Stefan, he also believes that his character is not meant to have that happy ending anyway.

Much to everyone's excitement, this then gives Caroline a chance to crossover "The Originals" in agony of having her wedding sabotaged. With Camille allegedly out of the picture, this could definitely support the theories that claim Klaus and Caroline will definitely be the end game of the series. It can be recalled that Klaus asked Caroline to be her last love, no matter how long it takes. After having gone years apart, this may be their chance after all.
