After months of waiting, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users finally get a solid Nougat release date expectation. For the past few weeks, reports have been coming out saying that Samsung has been testing the new Android version to their newest smartphones. However, there hasn't been any concrete news as to when the update is reaching people's phones, at least until now.

Android Nougat Beta For Samsung Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge

Last week Samsung has already started rolling out the beta Nougat update for UK S7 Edge participants through the Galaxy Beta Program. However, the said beta rollout was subsequently discontinued. As per Samsung's explanation, the Nougat beta rollout will officially start November 9 and will go through until mid-December.

As per Sam Mobile, the Android Nougat beta testing for the said Samsung devices will be open to US, China, South Korea and UK users. If you want to participate in the said pre-release of the update, all you need to do is to sign up for the Galaxy Beta Program through its Play Store app and see if Samsung approves your download. Nevertheless, it won't take too long before S7 and S7 Edge Nougat reviews flood the web come November 9.

Predictably, the official rollout of Android Nougat to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices will start right after the beta program. The said Android update will also give the S7 and S7 Edge more than just what native Nougat brings in. As per Phone Arena, S7 and S7 Edge users can expect to get the Grace UX, Always-on display and the improved Doze feature.

As for the other Samsung devices, it's still unclear when these devices are getting their Nougat update. Hopefully though, Samsung won't take too long in rolling out Nougat to other eligible device.
