Choosing what to watch on Netflix can be tricky sometimes. It isn't always easy to seperate the good movies from the pile of direct-to-DVD filler out there. However, Chrome extension Netflix Rate is here to make life easier by giving review-conscious Netflix viewers the thing they've always wanted: iMDB and Rotten Tomatoes integration.

Honestly, it seems odd that something like this didn't already exist. While it isn't exactly a chore to look up a movie on either site before you start watching, having the extra information on hand as you browse is certainly welcome. Maybe it's because no one had figured out a way to add it in seemlessly: Netflix Rate simply adds two extra logos with the review aggregators' scores onto Netflix's product pages and pop-up summaries.

The app isn't without its issues, though. Users on the Chrome web store have complained that click on the logos sometimes brings you to the wrong film, which is obviously a bit of a pain. Upon testing, The Next Web seems to vouch for the fact that it works more often than not, and that the extension is certainly worth your time if you're interested.
