DJI Mavic Pro Shipment Ongoing

People who have pre-ordered DJI's latest drone Mavic Pro are assured that the company is already shipping out the drone to buyers. DJI has been a subject of customer complaints due to their inability to meet their promised Mavic Pro ETA. The company first opened the pre-order line for the drone about two months ago with an initial ETA of mid-October. However, as it turned out, DJI wasn't able to meet the demand for the drone.

DJI's Latest Statement About Mavic Pro's Delay

As per the company's latest statement, they apologized for the all the delays their customers are currently encountering. DJI says that they indeed planned to ship the Mavic Pro mid-October. However, the number of orders that they received beats their expectations, which is why even at full speed production, they weren't able to meet their target shipping dates. As what was stated by the company in the DJI page, "Ramping up production to full speed at top quality took longer than planned."

DJI Mavic Pro Expected Release Date

DJI says that they have already been shipping the drone for two weeks now. However, it's the amount of orders that the company seems to blame in the delay. It's not exactly the company's stalling that keeps everyone from getting their ordered Mavic Pro. It's the number of orders that keeps DJI from finishing catering to all pre-orders.

Needless to say, it's still good news that the company finally provides people a more honest statement on what exactly is going on. As per DJI's recent post, they pointed out that their goal is to clear all orders in 7-8 weeks, at least for customers who placed their Mavic Pro order before November 3. With that said, it's safe to say that if you're one of the anticipating customers who ordered before the third of November, you will get your unit anytime between now and end of December.
