National Pancake Day: IHOP Giving Away Free Pancakes To Benefit Sick Children

Today (Feb. 5) is National Pancake Day and more than 1,500 IHOP restaurants across the nation will be giving away free buttermilk pancakes. Guests can enjoy a complimentary short stack of IHOP's signature pancakes between the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and are encouraged to make a charitable donation to local charities to help sick and injured children.

The annual fundraiser will benefit more than 100 member hospitals of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a leading children's charity that provides comfort, treatment and hope to millions of sick kids.

During IHOP's National Pancake Day event, more than 1,500 IHOP restaurants across the country will invite guests to enjoy a complimentary short stack of IHOP's signature delicious buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests will be encouraged to make a voluntary contribution to the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital or other local charities. One hundred percent of the donations will help local charities provide vital equipment, life-saving procedures and critical care for sick and injured children.

National Pancake Day is IHOP's largest annual philanthropic event and to date, and in the past, has helped to raise over $10 million dollars for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities. This is IHOP's eighth year holding National Pancake Day and last year, it raised over $3 million dollar to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other charities
