It looks like OnePlus has confirmed that a much improved OnePlus 3T smartphone with Snapdragon 821 is coming next week. According to all the rumors and leaks so far, the 3T will have improved hardware, but everything else will remain the same externally.

Qualcomm first tweeted that OnePlus will soon release a new device with the Snapdragon 821. Now, OnePlus has confirmed that a new device is coming. The company posted a teaser on Twitter telling users that something new will be announced on Nov. 15.

OnePlus is doing something similar to the iPhone SE, upgrading an already good phone to make it better. There have been rumors about a OnePlus 4, but it looks like the company will only unveil a completely new smartphone next year. This year, well, next week, only hardware improvements will be made to the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus 3T

Not much is known about the actual specifications of the OnePlus 3T, except the fact that it will include the Snapdragon 821 processor. It has been rumored that the device will come with the same 5.5 inch 1080p display, 6GB of RAM, improved 16 megapixel camera and Android 7.0 Nougat. As PhoneArena reported, the new processor may bring improvements in battery life as well.

The teaser posted by OnePlus does not reveal any other details about the upcoming smartphone. The only confirmed detail is that it will be faster thanks to the new processor. Will there be any design changes? Only time will tell.

OnePlus 3T Release Date

As per the teaser posted by OnePlus 3, the company will announce the new smartphone on Nov. 15. Up until now, it was thought that the phone would be launched on Nov. 14 in London. That is not the case as the new OnePlus 3T release date has been confirmed.

It is not yet sure if the phone will be called OnePlus 3T, but the teaser does emphasize on the letter "T". Find out next week.
