'The Simpsons' Foresee US Bankruptcy After Donald Trump's Victory; Will It Also Come True?

"The Simpsons" has once again predicted the future in one of their episodes when they said that Donald Trump will be the president of the United States of America. What makes this prediction really funny is that this isn't the first time the show has successfully predicted a future event.

In one of their episodes 16 years ago, the family was heading out for a trip and Bart found a way to sneak out to go to a Native American Casino. The casino manager showed him a prophecy where Lisa will one day be the President of U.S. She's seen commenting that she "inherited quite a budget crunch" from the previous president. Later on, it was revealed that she succeeded the position from none other than, Donald Trump who is our President today.

It can be recalled that "The Simpsons" also foretold that a "Star Wars" and an "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie will be released in the same week while Bengt Holmström will win the Nobel Prize in another episode. So if Simpsons have correctly predicted Trump's presidency, does this mean America will have a budget crunch after Trump's term?

Last night, Republican candidate Donald Trump was in a tight race against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately, the former first lady has decided to concede making Trump the 45th President of the United States. At the announcement of his presidency, parts of U.S. and different countries have started to show their defiance to the newly elected president. Residents of California rallied in the streets to push their request of independence from the U.S., and even as far as Korea where citizens have also taken their protest against Trump in the streets.

Donald Trump has been heavily criticized for his views and how he selfishly wants to run the country when he becomes the President. Moreover, recent audio recording reveals his views about women and the way he talks about them with his colleagues.
