After weeks of rumors and unverified information, OnePlus has finally given out a more solid hint that the OnePlus 3T phone is indeed coming. A few weeks ago, news came out that OnePlus will be releasing a new phone this year. However, instead of the anticipated OnePlus 4, it was said that the company will be releasing a new model under the OnePlus 3 series. While the initial reports suggested that it would be called OnePlus 3 Plus or OnePlus 3S, it looks like the company has thought of something else. Apparently, the new phone could come with the name OnePlus 3T.

OnePlus 3T Release

As per GSM Arena, OnePlus has tweeted some sort of a confirmation that the OnePlus 3T will soon be launched, November 15 at 1:00 pm to be exact. The company might not have given out a direct confirmation of the rumored smartphone, but their tweet is pretty straightforward. The letter "T" was emphasized and the date and time were indicated as well. This simply means that something related to "T" will be discussed at the scheduled time.

OnePlus 3T Expectations

The said teaser confirms that the upcoming phone will come with a Snapdragon 821 processor. It's worth noting that Qualcomm has already confirmed this news one day before OnePlus did. Needless to say, the upcoming OnePlus 3T will be some sort of an upgrade to the OnePlus 3 that came out a few months ago.

As for the specs, the OnePlus 3T could sport a bigger battery size of 3300 mAh and it could also pack a bigger storage of 128 GB. There's also a good chance that the phone will run the newly released Android Nougat. As for the price, earlier rumors said that it could come with a $479 price tag. That's $80 more than the earlier model. This could actually also mean that the OnePlus 4 could come with a price tag of a little more than $500 when it comes out next year. However, it's probably too early to discuss that.
