Menopause is a critical factor for women in terms of memory. According to the study, perimenopausal and premenopausal women have a better memory than postmenopausal women. According to Dr. JoAnn Pinkerton, people should take issues like "brain fog" seriously.

"This study and others have shown that these complaints are associated with memory deficits," Psych Central quoted the executive director of The North American Menopause Society as saying.
