News that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are ready to tie the knot spread easily in the online community the pst few weeks.. And yes, it is already official. The two are planning to get married at the Church of the Good Shepherd on May 5. But before coming up with that final decision, the two did have some rough points in the planning stage.

According to Radar Online, Gwen and Blake seem to have a hard time agreeing with one thing. Blake wanted an intimate wedding but Gwen likes to make it big. Luckily, Shelton, being gentle, decided not to go against her will. Sources told:

 "They can hardly agree on anything! "Gwen wants to go big on this - and Blake wanted to make it an informal affair down home in Tennessee or their new place in Oklahoma - but he's not willing to go to the mat against her."

Blake Wanted The People Closest To Him While Gwen Wanted To Invite 700 People In Their Wedding

It was rumored that the 'No Doubt' performer wanted to invite more than 500 guests on the wedding while the country singer wanted to invite only the people closest to them.

 "Gwen's guest list was 700 people alone, she also wanted to have a bunch of celebrity music stars perform - but he didn't want to turn the wedding into Woodstock."

Sources told that during the course as to who would be invited, the 700 was trimmed down to 400. These include Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman.

In addition, Inquisitr stated that the two had already hired a wedding planner; in which both of them have neither confirmed nor denied yet. The two were spotted taling about marriage during interviews which made others realize that the couple is ready to take their relationship to the next level.
