Android Nougat Release Dates For Samsung, HTC, OnePlus, And ZTE

It has already been around three months since the Android Nougat was first released. However, roll-out to non-Google phones is yet to happen. Android users of different brands have been waiting for the Nougat update for some time and as of recently, different mobile phone companies have already shared their Nougat ETAs to their users. Samsung, HTC, ZTE and OnePlus have all shared details about their Android Nougat roll out.

Android Nougat For Flagship Phones

As per GSM Arena, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge's Nougat beta rollout is already ongoing. However, actual roll out may be stretched out to early 2017. The HTC 10 on the other hand is due to receive the Android Nougat update before the year ends. HTC has already verified this info but no exact date was given. However leakster LlabTooFeR has mentioned that the Nougat update could hit the HTC devices in Europe this month or Early December.

For the OnePlus 3 users, you can expect a beta rollout of the Android Nougat update this month. The final version of Nougat will then start reaching OnePlus 3 phones by the end of this year. ZTE has also mentioned that its Nougat rollout will start some time January 2017. Needless to say, it looks like most of these Android phone companies have already finished the testing period and are just in the process of starting the rollout.

Android Nougat For Non-flagship Phones

It's still hard to tell when the eligible non-flagship phones will get their Android update. As per past instances, it could take months before an Android update gets to older models. For users of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, Sam Mobile said that the Nougat update for your phones is already in development. This means that your phones can get the Android update in a few months' time and most probably sooner than models older than the S6 and S6 Edge.
