Aside from the possibility of Alex going to jail, it looks like a love triangle is set to happen soon in "Grey’s Anatomy" Season 13. In the teaser trailer released recently, Jo reveals she is summoned by the court to testify despite claiming that she is “unreliable” when the incident happened. It can be remembered that Alex attacked DeLuca in season 12 when Jo refused to get serious with him.

One of the things worrying Jo is the fact that she needs to tell the truth in court or risk losing her license. She emphasized that she can’t lie under oath because she will be charged with a felony. Alex, on the other hand, was very calm and reassures Jo that everything’s going to be fine.

The closeness between Jo and Alex is undeniable. Even DeLuca has noticed the two being too close. In one scene, DeLuca is seen getting jealous as Jo and Alex work as a team for a case. This led fans to speculate whether there really is something going on between the two. Later on, DeLuca is seen confronting Jo about Alex and assures him, at that time, that it’s all just work. DeLuca is not convinced but decides not to talk about the case.

Now Alex is worried that he’ll be sent to jail for attacking DeLuca so he goes to his ex and gives her one last apology. He assures her that despite everything that he said when he was angry, she’s not a trash. Jo tells him that he has already given his apology before, which could also mean that there’s just no chance for them to get back together. Before the preview ended, Jo is heard talking about her husband to Alex.
