Call Of Duty: Lethal Combat News: New COD Game Details Revealed

It has already been two weeks since SAG-AFTRA strike is happening. Video games' voice actors are striking against a few of the biggest gaming industry companies. It has quite become the reason for some development projects to prosper, and one of it is the soon-to-be-released Call of Duty game. The title of the next Call of Duty game is Call of Duty: Lethal Combat, and its developer is Sledgehammer Games.

According to the report from Frag Hero, there is also a rumor that the developers are opting for another name which is Call of Duty: Stronghold. It is therefore safe to say that the developers have not certainly decided yet as to what would come out as the final name. The former abovementioned name may be most likely adapted than the latter.

There were no further details as to what will be expected out of the game. SAG-AFTRA has not released any other information related to the Call of Duty: Lethal Combat, but new information revealed that the game will have a Vietnam War setting, and along with this set-up is a strong female lead character. Sledgehammer has already said before that they would like to have a female character in this game series.

On the contrary, if the game will have a Vietnam War setting, it would be ironic since women are not allowed to serve in the US army during combat until 2013. Whatever the characteristic of the main character is in the next Call of Duty game, it would still be amazing to witness the progress of the franchise after Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare misfortune.

Hopefully, Call of Duty will be able to regain the loss that they had way back then. Call of Duty: Lethal Combat will be expected to be released on Nov. 2017, but as of this writing, the game is still in its development phase.
