Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 Specification

Prolific tipster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has shared a press render of the Galaxy J3 (2017) indicating that its launch is coming. The design of the refreshed smartphone will be synonymous with all Samsung's low-budgeted Galaxy smartphones that were already existing.

According to Gadgets 360, a capsule-shaped Home Button at the bottom of the display and capacitive navigation buttons on either side will be present. The power button is seen resting on the right edge, while the volume buttons are housed on the left edge. As the first Galaxy J3 was launched in November last year, it is likely that Samsung will follow tradition and launch the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 in the same timeframe this year as well.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.4 GHz paired with 2GB RAM. The smartphone is said to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI skin, as reported by Geekbench.

Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 Release Date

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) was launched in India in March 2015. The Galaxy J3 was the first Samsung phone to feature S-bike mode, something that the company replicated in its other budget devices later.

The company hasn't officially announced the release date of the device but a leaked press render has indicated that it will be launched on December 1, according to International Business Times.
