Fisher Price Just Created A Mini Mustang With Driver Assist Controls

For years, petrol heads have been looking for the best way to influence their young ones to be like them. Bringing their kids to car meets and letting them help out in the garage has always been a task on their to-do list. Now, Ford teams up with the famous toy maker, Fisher Price, to let kids learn in a more hands-on approach to becoming a true gear head.

A Perfect Gear Head Gift For The Holidays

With the holiday season just around the corner, Ford and Fisher Price joined forces to create the perfect gift for young aspiring drivers, the all-new Fisher Price Power Wheels Mustang. A replica of the famous Mustang convertible that is powered by an all electric motor, this toy car also feature driver assistance technology such as a variable speed limiter, stability control, and traction control. Making it one, if not the first, toy car that has features similar to a real car.

The Fisher Price Power Wheels Mustang Have Real Driver Assist Features

The Power Wheels Mustang can monitor wheel slip and activate the traction control and can adjust the motor speed, which we are guessing as a means for the engine to adjust the torque depending on the terrain. The stability control can also automatically switch off the motor if it detects an unnatural angle to prevent the car from rolling over. In addition, it will feature a speaker that makes V8 engine sound effects; it won't be a true muscle car without at least a V8 in it. Or you can connect an auxiliary cable and connect music for the speaker to play. These features can, hopefully, teach future real Mustang owners the value of keeping their driver aids intact and not everything they hear under the hood is what they seem.

The Fisher Price Power Wheels Mustang tops at whopping 5 miles per hour and will be available on stores on December for only $359.99 dollars.
