‘The Young & The Restless' Spoilers: Who Should Sharon Pair Up With After Dylan Exits?

"The Young and the Restless" showrunners have revealed already that Dylan will soon exit from the show and it seems the time has come after latest spoilers hint at Dylan filing a divorce from Sharon. Given Dylan's departure from the scene, who should Sharon pair up with? Here's what the head writer says.

Sharon's Future

"The Young and the Restless" head writer Sally Sussman has spoiled that major changes are coming very soon on the show and one of these involves the character Sharon (Sharon Case). In a report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Sharon is said to be written "back to respectability and keep her on point indefinitely." The same report stressed that the character needs to be shifted to a more optimistic appeal after the hullaballoo revolving around the life of Christian.

Nick Vs. Adam: Who Should Sharon Pair Up With?

One of the anticipated changes is the fact that Dylan (Steve Burton) will leave the soap and how Sharon's life will evolve without him. Is Sharon bound to be man-less after Dylan departs from the show anytime soon? Y&R spoilers reveal that a new team-up will rise; Sharon might be torn in between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (whoever will be recast). Although "Shick" is never new at all, this pairing could come as a surprise as of now as it may take time to heal wounds.

As of now, Nick is still brewing with anger over what Sharon and Dylan did. Even so, both camps have yet to face legal battles as Dylan and Sharon will fight for visitation rights for Christian. Thus, it may take some time for a renewed love story to unfold. In the meantime, Adam is still out and there has been no official mention yet if the character will be recast. If Justin Hartley comes back, or anyone for that matter, Sharon doesn't need to stay man-less for too long.
